All quotations are prepared using the information available at the time of inquiry, consultation, measurements, photographs, or site review. Unless otherwise stated, quotes remain valid for 30 days. Pricing may change after that period because of supplier increases, labor costs, revised dimensions, permit needs, or updated project requirements.

2. Project Approval

No work is scheduled or guaranteed until the customer accepts the estimate and any required deposit has been received. Informal discussions, emails, or phone conversations do not reserve dates or lock pricing unless confirmed in writing by Fix It Home Services.

3. Deposits & Payments

Deposits may be requested to secure labor time, purchase materials, reserve specialty equipment, or begin planning. Depending on project size, progress payments may be required during the job. Final payment is due upon substantial completion unless a different written payment schedule applies.

4. Scope Of Work

Only services specifically listed in the written quotation are included in the agreed price. Additional requests, upgrades, hidden damage, disposal services, redesigns, or changes after work begins may require a revised quote, added charges, and timeline adjustments.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to provide reasonable access to the property, safe working conditions, and access to utilities when needed. Pets should be secured, and fragile belongings, valuables, or furniture near the work zone should be removed or protected before our arrival unless otherwise arranged.

6. Scheduling & Delays

Estimated start dates and completion times are planning targets only. Delays may occur due to weather, traffic, illness, emergencies, product shortages, permit approvals, concealed structural conditions, or customer-requested changes. Fix It Home Services will make reasonable efforts to communicate updates promptly.

7. Materials & Substitutions

We aim to supply dependable products and quality materials. If selected items become unavailable or discontinued, Fix It Home Services may recommend a comparable alternative. Customer-supplied products are installed at the customer’s risk regarding compatibility, defects, missing parts, or warranty limitations.

8. Our Guarantee

We guarantee the quality of our physical labor for the workmanship period stated in your agreement. This does not cover misuse, accidental damage, neglect, unauthorized alterations, lack of maintenance, normal wear, weather exposure, or failures covered by manufacturer warranties.

9. Existing Conditions

Fix It Home Services is not responsible for hidden defects that were not visible before work began, including leaks inside walls, pest damage, unsafe wiring, mold, unstable framing, or prior code violations. If such issues are found, options and revised costs will be discussed before continuing.

10. Cancellations

Confirmed bookings cancelled after acceptance may incur charges for planning time, ordered materials, custom items, blocked labor dates, or other unrecoverable costs. Refunds, if any, depend on the stage of the project and expenses already committed.

11. Liability Limitations

To the extent permitted by law, Fix It Home Services’s total liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant contracted services. We are not responsible for indirect losses, business interruption, delays beyond our control, or third-party actions after completion.
